Karen's Green Cleaning Precautionary Measures against COVID-19

#StopTheSpread of COVID-19

Aside from our “green cleaning” advocacy, Karen’s Green Cleaning Minneapolis believes that we have a global responsibility to help protect our clients’ homes, businesses and especially our employees. As CDC recommends proper hygiene, surface cleaning and sanitizing to be the best weapon against the spread of COVID-19, our support as a cleaning service is considered essential during this challenging time. We would love to share our precautionary measures in response to COVID-19 to perhaps lessen your worries and anxiety about this invisible enemy.

Daily Employee Temperature Checks

It is important to monitor our employees’ body temperature and will surely not allow them to work when they are having a fever or even the slightest symptom of the virus. Our employees are well-informed about what to and who to call when they are feeling sick and will follow health recommendations set by the CDC and our local health authorities.

Improved Cleaning and Sanitizing Processes for your Home/Business

COVID-19 can live on surfaces for hours or even days. You may catch the virus when you touch a surface that is infected and you touch your mouth, nose, or eyes. That is why Karen’s Green Cleaning ensures that we have improved our cleaning practices. High-touch surfaces are given extra attention more than ever.

The high-touch surfaces in your home are:

  • Doorknobs

  • Light Switches

  • Railings

  • Faucets

  • Sinks

  • Countertops

  • Tables and Chairs

  • Handles

  • TV Remote Controls

Contactless Process

  • You may book online or call us to schedule an appointment.

  • We accept credit card payments.

  • Prepare a note or a detailed instruction of special requests and instructions. (You may do this upon booking online or letting our customer service representative over the phone)

A Health Tip:

Help prevent COVID-19. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

Proper Hygiene and Protective Wear

Frequent hand-washing is proven to reduce the risk of acquiring the COVID-19 virus. Our cleaners practice proper hand-washing and this means washing their hands for 20 seconds with soap and water. They also keep hand sanitizers and alcohol handy and in their cars. We also require them to use face masks and gloves to wear during cleaning. All cleaning equipment is also disinfected before entering your home or business.

Stay Informed

Karen’s Green Cleaning ensures that we are fully aware of the updates regarding COVID-19. We make sure to keep close contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to be updated with their recommendations on how to protect our clients and our workers.
